    OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is the network that encourages you to live your best life. OWN offers real life stories and moments of transformation that will inspire and entertain.

    Visit our Channel Listings for a list of Service Providers currently carrying OWN and the corresponding channel numbers. If you don't see your provider listed here contact your TV service provider to find out how to tune in to OWN.

  3. Will OWN be broadcast in HD?

    Yes, OWN HD is available through select service providers. If OWN HD is not available from your carrier, please contact them and ask when they plan to offer.

    OWN will continue to work with many universities and colleges across Canada to bring you great programming that enhances the learning experience and supports a passion for discovery. The introductions included with our programs are written and hosted by educators affiliated with a variety of post-secondary courses. These segments provide context for the upcoming episode while connecting OWN’s programming with actual course curriculum.

    OWN does not offer this type of service. However, refer to our online Schedule for up-to-date information and potential repeat airdates.

    All information we have available regarding on-air talent can be found on our website. Currently, we cannot provide autographs or pictures.

  12. Why is the Canadian programming schedule different from the American programming schedule?

    Canadian viewers will see much of the same OWN original programming as the US audience, however, daily schedules are unique and will differ from time to time. As a Canadian broadcaster, OWN Canada has regulations which require a certain amount of Canadian produced programs be aired each day.     We provide a selection of recipe resources for many of our OWN shows. Refer to the Shows section of our website and select the Recipes tab on each show page for a selection of recipes. Also, visit the Food & Nutrition Experts section of W Network.com, where hosts from shows including Healthy Gourmet, You Are What You Eat and more will provide answers to your questions.

    Visit the Be On TV section of our website for more information regarding shows that are currently seeking participants. Producers typically choose project sites within the Canadian city in which filming is based.
